I’m a student from Barcelona staying in Bergen for a year and working on a bioSPIRE project has been one of the highlights of my Erasmus+ experience.
It has given me the opportunity to work in an area of biology which I’ve never worked on before, studying sponge biodiversity and measuring spicules.
I would recommend anyone that has the time to join one of the many different projects, as you will learn a lot and it will help if you want to have a career in science.
Also, everyone I’ve met here has been helpful and kind, so you will be working in the perfect environment while you learn.
